Prepare your future house before moving in and the removalists are not standing on the nature strip waiting for keys. The clock is running. A live power point, a cold fridge and a park for the truck save real money at $170/hr.
Before moving day
- Keys in hand, or a clear pickup time from the agent. Tell us if settlement is the same morning.
- Electricity and gas in your name from that morning.
- Fridge plugged in the day before if you can get access.
- Internet booked — not required for us, required for you that night.
- Know where the truck can stand. Steep Central Coast drives and Inner West terraces need a plan.
- If there is a lift, book it for the delivery window as well as the pickup.
When we arrive
Walk us through rooms. We place furniture where you point. Beds go back together. If a room is still being painted, say so — we can hold that room until last or leave it on the truck until you are ready, but say it early.
Pair this with the pre-move checklist at the old house. Estimate once both addresses are locked.
